Google should be updating PageRank over the next few days. Keep your eyes open and see how this update reflects on your site. If your pagerank does not go up or possibly goes down, do not worry. PageRank is not very important when it comes to where your website ranks, it is more of a reflection of the work you have put in to make your site popular. I love to see pagerank climb on my websites, it lets me know that Google sees the SEO work I have put in on my sites.

SEOFriendly.com’s pagerank has not changed or went up for sometime now, I don’t know if it ever will. We get more traffic now than ever before and that makes me happy. I would trade page rank for traffic anyday.

Happy PageRank Checking!

Where did you get the hint that it would be updated in July? In the past they have been very random when it updates.

hi,

as usual google first updates the links etc. in google webmaster tools, my sites jumped from 3.000-5.000 links to 30.000-50.000 … that’s not right, i don’t have that many links … did anybody else has this same problem?

cheers,

Michiel

The last one was a little rough on my sites, hope this one is a little more positive. I have been doing additional article marketing recently, so I am optimistic.

Have you seen the update yet for July? I’m curious as I’ve seen some movement but nothing to substantiate a complete update. What do you think?

My new blog still not ranked what can i do?
And when the next update?

admin July 27, 2010

I would have bet money that Google would have rolled an update our by now… That is Google for ya! They always keep you on your toes. The last update was april 2nd from what we can tell or verify. So I assue it will happen again anytime now. Thanks for the comments guys (and girls)!

I have a few different websites out there at different stages and I haven’t seen any type of indication of a pagerank change starting like in the past. Anymore pagerank isn’t factoring into the SERPS ranking and Google seems to be moving away from it so in all reality it shouldn’t matter much other than just letting some SEO’s know if what they were doing to build links was working.

Mike July 30, 2010

As of 30th july nothing yet.

My guess is at the 4 month mark. So around August 2-4. Then one again at the end of December. I know some times its 3months ad everyone has been talking out it for a month now. I do see more pages moving up and down in the Serps though. Seems to be doing something a little different.

Mine didn’t change. I posted in this comment too. Not sure is I did it properly, maybe someone can help me with commenting roules in blogs that can help with PR but not angry the admins.

Tip from admin: dont add a link in your post that is your site… You add it to the URL field above the comment area like you did.

Here it is August 11th and still no major pagerank updates from Google (Aka GodOfThe Web) Report any changes you see on your sites pagerank here, when it happens!

PR is just one of the ranking factors and it is not very important. It is always important to add quality and fresh content to your site. For example this page doesn’t have any PR value, but it comes on the first page at Google results when searched for google pr update july 2010.
