		<description>I think what happens is that we get so focused on pagerank and how to increase it that we forget that serp are much more important to get visitors, which is really what we all want.. more traffic. I personally do keep track of it and If my page rank increases or improves for any one of my sites that I own, I say great ,but if it does not improve or goes down I &quot;try&quot; not to lose sleep over it. In other words, I guess it&#039;s one of those things that are great if it&#039;s high for a site, but If it&#039;s low then we should not try to worry about it too much. Serp is what really counts and if that drops down in the search engines dramatically then it&#039;s time to be concerned.</description>

		<description>I basically agree with what you said here - pagerank alone is not going to determine exactly where you rank, but knowing what it is and where you&#039;re ranking can be combined to figure out what needs to be worked on.  Obviously, links from high page rank sites are better if all other things are equal, but its the factors like relevance and the context of the link that usually have a bigger impact on its relative ranking value.</description>
